Genshin Impact's latest update, Version 4.2, has introduced a new Local Specialty known as the Lakelight Lily, a key material for ascending characters like Furina. In this guide, we'll explore where to find Lakelight Lilies, their respawn times, and how to use them for character ascension.
Lakelight Lily Locations
Lakelight Lilies are predominantly found in the picturesque Erinnyes Forest within the Fontaine region. There are a total of 77 Lakelight Lilies scattered around Fontaine, making it essential for players to collect a significant number to ascend their characters.
To help you locate these precious azure flowers, you can rely on the following methods:
Lyney's Passive: If you're lucky enough to have Lyney in your party, his Trivial Observation passive skill can display the locations of nearby specialties unique to Fontaine on your mini-map, making the search for Lakelight Lilies much more manageable.
Complete the Wild Fairy of Erinnyes Quest: Completing this questline will cause seven Lakelight Lilies to appear around the tree in the Weeping Willow of the Lake. This is a great way to collect additional Lilies.

Lakelight Lily Respawn Time
Like many Local Specialties in Genshin Impact, Lakelight Lilies have a respawn time of 48 hours. After you've collected them, you can relog the game or teleport from the farthest waypoint to revisit the location and find them respawned.
If you've exhausted the Lakelight Lilies in your world, you can also consider visiting other players' worlds in Co-op mode, where they may still be available.
How to Use Lakelight Lily
Lakelight Lilies are primarily used to ascend Furina. To fully ascend Furina to her maximum level, you'll need to collect 168 of these luminescent starfish-like flowers. Here's a breakdown of the number of Lilies required for each ascension level:
20→40: Lakelight Lily x3
40→50: Lakelight Lily x10
50→60: Lakelight Lily x20
60→70: Lakelight Lily x30
70→80: Lakelight Lily x45
80→90: Lakelight Lily x60

It's important to note that as of Version 4.2, Furina is the only character in the game known to use Lakelight Lilies for ascension. However, should any other Fontaine characters require this material in the future, the usage per ascension level will remain the same.
