Opening the Doors to Fontaine's Daily Commissions
Fontaine's daily commissions are a gateway to Primogems, rewards, and the vibrant daily life of Teyvat's citizens. Yet, these commissions are not immediately accessible upon entering the region, as some may have hoped. The path to unlocking them requires a series of steps:
Complete Act I and Act II of the Fontaine Archon Quest: To initiate the unlocking process, players must finish both "Prelude of Blancheur and Noirceur" (Act I) and "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason" (Act II). These quests serve as prerequisites for further progression.
Trigger the "Another Horizon of Adventure" World Quest: Upon successfully completing the aforementioned quests, the "Another Horizon of Adventure" World Quest becomes available. This quest leads players to Katheryne, the familiar face from the Adventurer's Guild. Interacting with her will unlock Fontaine's daily commissions, granting access to the tasks that await.
Making the Transition: Fontaine Commissions
To actually access Fontaine's commissions in your Adventurer Handbook, follow these steps:
Open the Handbook: Launch your Adventurer Handbook.
Access Commissions: Within the Handbook, navigate to the "Commissions" section on the left.
Choose Fontaine: In the upper-right corner, locate the dropdown menu. Select "Fontaine" from the list of regions. Your daily commissions will now be tailored to Fontaine.
Wait for the Reset: After the server reset, your new set of Fontaine daily commissions will be ready for you to tackle.
How to unlock Fontaine’s Reputation system
Unlocking the Reputation system in Fontaine shares similarities with accessing its daily commissions. Follow these steps to dive into Fontaine's Reputation system:
Complete Archon Quests: Finish the required Archon Quests for Fontaine, including both acts of Chapter IV: "Prelude of Blancheur and Noirceur" and "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason."
Steambird Interview: Once the prerequisite Archon Quests are done, the "Steambird Interview" World Quest will become available. Engage with Euphrasie, the Chief Editor of Steambird, located at the Steambird headquarters in the Court of Fontaine. After a brief conversation, you'll have unlocked the Reputation system.
The Reputation system involves earning points in various categories like World Exploration, Quest Completion, Bounties, and Requests. Keep in mind that certain Reputation levels are required to accept commissions for Requests and Bounties.
