The splash art and ability descriptions have been leaked, giving players a sneak peek at what to expect from the upcoming character. The leaked information regarding the Furina splash art in Genshin Impact as well as her abilities raised the curiosity of fans on whether she will be a DPS or sub-DPS and how well she fits in team compositions. The Hydro Archon’s official release date is yet to be announced by HoYoverse.

Through various Twitter posts by leakers, Furina’s splash art has been revealed which has similar vibes to that of Neuvillette.
One striking difference from her splash art is the color of her clothes which is a darker shade of blue instead of white from the recent cutscenes in the game. This led fans to share their theories on why there are two designs for Furina.

Some fans speculate that there may be two Furina with the real Hydro Archon showing herself in future chapters while the current one is simply a temporary representative that interacts with the people.
Another theory shared how Furina has an alter ego. However, HoYoverse has yet to unveil more information about the Hydro Archon in the game. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.

Aside from the Furina splash art leaks in Genshin Impact, her kit has also been revealed by data miners.
The kit shows her impressive damage-amplifying abilities that focus allies to offer a portion of their HP which is perfect for characters like Hu Tao and Xiao who enjoy sacrificing HP for more damage. Shortly after taking HP away from allies, Furina can also heal back the lost HP to reset her combo.
