Furina will soon arrive in Genshin Impact as one of the playable Fontaine characters. She is a 5-star Hydro Archon unit that uses a sword as a main weapon. According to various leaks, her abilities involve sacrificing HP to provide damage amplification buffs to the entire party. Furina in Genshin Impact can be classified as a sub-DPS unit with powerful support capabilities. However, HoYoverse has yet to officially confirm the said leaks to be true. The release date of Furina in Genshin Impact is also yet to be announced. According to various leaks, she may not be arriving in Version 4.1 as the two new banners are said to be for Neuvillette and Wriothesley.
Genshin Impact Furina Kit leaks
According to a Twitter post by Gayshin, here are the abilities of Furina in Genshin Impact;
Normal Attack:
Normal Attack: Performs 5 rapid strikes.
Charge Attack: Drains stamina to unleash two rapid sword strikes.
Noyee Excitement: Receiving a healing effect within the past seconds, the next charge attack will make Furina enter the “Noyee Excitement” state for a set duration making her charged attacks gain hydro infusion and deal damage based on her Max HP. Using charged attacks will make all nearby party members lose HP. After a short delay, heal all nearby party members based on Furina’s Max HP. Furina cannot enter this state if her current HP is equal to or less than 50%.
Plunge Attack: TBD
Elemental Skill
Furina channels the energy of Pneuma and Ousia at once to cast an aquatic energy wave dealing Hydro damage to surrounding opponents based on Furina’s Max HP. At the same time, instantly heals nearby party members based on Furina’s Max HP and grants Imperial life force for a set duration.
Imperial Life Force: Increases the max HP of all nearby party members and creates an aura that surrounds the current active character allowing them to walk on the water’s surface and apply wet status to nearby opponents. Interrupt resistance also increases while in this state. When the Aquatic energy wave reaches its maximum distance it returns back to your current active character dealing additional Hydro DMG to opponents it passes through. When the Aquatic energy wave reaches your current active character instantly heals all nearby party members once more.
Elemental Burst
Furina uses the combined energy of Pneuma and Ousia to create a large field that surrounds the currently active character. At the same time, it consumes a portion of all nearby party members’ Max HP to increase their damage based on the HP lost. The field will continuously deal Hydro damage to opponents and party members inside.
When opponents inside the field take damage, the damage Boost from the initial cast will additionally accumulate the total HP loss among all party members. After a few seconds, the field immediately disperses into mist, instantly healing all nearby party members based on Furina’s Max HP. It also restores a portion of their missing Health while simultaneously dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding opponents based on Furina’s Max HP and a portion of the total HP lost among all party members.
During its duration, the field will then change into a misted field where it still provides the DMG bonus and continuously damages nearby opponents, but no longer consumes the HP of party members.
Players should keep in mind that the Furina abilities leaked in Genshin Impact are yet to be confirmed by HoYoverse. Players will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the near future.
