Map Location: Unlocking Freeman's Announcement
To embark on this treasure hunt, players must first locate the Freeman's Announcement map inside a clam in the yellow underwater area of the Morte Region. Explore the ocean depths near the Fort Charybdis Ruins, southeast of the region, and find a pink clam next to a shipwreck. Open it with a single Normal Attack to reveal the coveted Freeman's Announcement Treasure Map.

How to Get Freeman's Announcement Treasure: The Rusty Rudder Puzzle
The Freeman's Announcement Treasure Map reveals a riddle that guides players to The Rusty Rudder, a ship located in the Erinnyes Forest. To reach the destination swiftly, teleport to the underwater waypoint east of Fort Charybdis Ruins and swim southwest.

Upon arriving at The Rusty Rudder, examine the treasure map in your inventory. The riddle instructs, "Of the four flames, only that which is set upon the land is the flame of hope. Light it to receive a token of Freeman's gratitude." To decipher this, gather a Hydro and Pyro unit in your party.
Teleport to the waypoint north of the Foggy Forest Path.
Extinguish the flames on all torches near the ship using a Hydro unit.
Switch to a Pyro unit and ignite the torch directly touching the ground, avoiding those on platforms.
Completing this puzzle activates an Exquisite Chest, rewarding players with five Primogems. Furthermore, completing all eight challenges from the hidden maps unlocks the "A la volonté du peuple" achievement and grants access to another map titled Rainbow Rose's Ideals.
Morte Region's Hidden Treasures
Freeman's Announcement is one of eight secret treasure maps concealed in the underwater expanses of the Morte Region. These maps, introduced in version 4.2, offer players a prolonged and adventurous exploration task, requiring them to locate 16 hidden spots in total.
