Genshin Impact: Chiori Makes Her Debut in The Version 4.3 Special Program Livestream
Hoyoverse gave players several announcements and sneak peeks at the recently concluded Special Program Livestream for Version 4.3 of Genshin Impact. One of the highlights of the next version is the debut of Chiori in Genshin Impact. While Chiori will not be debuting as a playable character, there is a high chance that she will become playable in the following patches. The fictitious Chioriya Boutique was the ‘sponsor’ of the Livestream and players got a look at Chiori herself who is from Inazuma and owns the fashion store. As players gear up for the upcoming patch set to release on 20th December, here's everything you need to know about Chiori’s debut.
Chiori: A Fashionista's Debut
Chiori, who was first teased in Kirara's speech lines in version 3.7, will finally appear in the game in version 4.3. According to rumors, she may use a Geo Vision and make her debut as a 5-star unit. The owner of Chioriya Boutique is slated to play an important role as a potential support unit for Navia, another Geo character set to be included in the same patch. Although her official release date is unknown, Hutao Lover's leaks indicate that version 4.5 will be released in March 2024.
One of the highlights of the Genshin Impact 4.3 Special Program was the official confirmation of Ayana Taketatsu as Chiori's voice actor. With an illustrious career in the anime industry, Taketatsu brings her talent to breathe life into Chiori. Fans can recognize her from roles in popular series like "The Quintessential Quintuplets" and "Sword Art Online."
As the version 4.4 beta approaches, travelers should keep a watch out for leaks that reveal what Chiori will bring to Genshin Impact.
Chevreuse: Fontaine's Vigilante Captain
Alongside Chiori's announcement, Genshin Impact also revealed Chevreuse, the captain of Fontaine's special security and surveillance patrol. Voiced by Shino Shimoji in Japanese and Erika Lindbeck in English, Chevreuse is set to become available for players to wish in the second phase of version 4.3.
Shino Shimoji, recognized for her diverse roles in anime and gacha games, brings her talents to Genshin Impact as Chevreuse. Notable for her performances in The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World and Azur Lane, Shimoji's portrayal of Chevreuse is eagerly anticipated by fans.
Patch Release and Banner Information
Version 4.3 is scheduled for release on December 20, and players can look forward to two distinct phases for character wishes. The first phase will feature Navia and Ayaka, while the second phase will introduce Chevreuse alongside the re-run banners of Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya. The timing of Chiori's banner remains unconfirmed.
