Understanding the Miasma
The Miasma is a malevolent force that has manifested itself in locations across Chenyu Vale, bringing turmoil and danger to the land. To overcome this threat and earn valuable rewards, players must undertake the task of purifying each corrupted area.
How to Clear the Miasma
Defeat the Enemies: Each Miasma-infested area is guarded by formidable adversaries. Players must engage in battle and vanquish these foes to cleanse the land of their malevolent presence.
Use Adeptal Energy to Purify: Upon defeating the enemies, the source of the Miasma is exposed. Utilize your adeptal energy to purify the corrupted tree or branch, restoring balance to the affected area.
Locations and Challenges
Miasma Location #1: Located west of Mt. Xuanlian, in the middle of a lake. Accessible from the nearby mountaintop Pavilion or the Waypoint south of Chizhang Wall.
Miasma Location #2: Found west of the Statue of Seven in Chizhang Wall. Adventurers can easily reach it by jumping off the cliff in front of the statue and gliding down.
Miasma Location #3: Situated near the Southern Mountain Waypoint, between Yaodie Valley and Chizhang Wall.
Miasma Location #4: Located southeast of Mt. Lingmeng, past the training grounds of the Guhua Clan. Accessible after completing the Shrouded Vale, Hidden Hero quest.
Miasma Location #5: Positioned at Yaodie Valley, east of the hill. Accessible from the nearby waypoint, with enemies including a Mitachurl and a Hydro Samachurl.
Miasma Location #6: West of Yaodie Valley, where adventurers encounter a Mitachurl, Cryo Samachurl, and Stonehide Lawachurl.
Miasma Location #7: Found west of Mt. Xuanlian, with enemies including a Mitachurl and Frostarm Lawachurl. This location spawns a Luxurious Chest instead of a Precious Chest.
Rewards and Achievements
Chest Rewards: Each miasma challenge yields a Precious Chest, except for the Mt. Xuanlian location, which rewards a Luxurious Chest.
Break the Benighting Achievement: By successfully cleansing all seven miasma locations, adventurers unlock the hidden achievement, Break the Benighting.
