How to Unlock the Latecoming Homecoming Quest
Before you can embark on the Latecoming Homecoming quest, you must first complete the Canticles of Harmony quest chain. Once this prerequisite is met, you'll need to wait for the daily reset to trigger the Latecoming Homecoming quest. When the quest becomes available, head to Petrichor's Harbor and look for Giulietta, a key NPC who will kick off the quest.
Latecoming Homecoming Quest Walkthrough
1. Talk to Giulietta: Approach Giulietta near the Waverider Waypoint in Petrichor to start the quest. She will ask you to take her to Bayda Harbor in Sumeru.
2. Escort Giulietta to Bayda Harbor: Agree to help Giulietta and escort her to Bayda Harbor. Once you arrive, Giulietta will thank you and depart, leaving you to encounter Giustino, another NPC who needs assistance.
3. Take Giustino to Petrichor: Giustino will ask you to take him back to Petrichor. Agree to help him and transport him back to Petrichor. Upon arrival, Giustino will become seasick and not return, prompting you to find out his whereabouts.
4. Find Giustino: Instead of finding Giustino, you will encounter Giovanni, Giustino's brother, who expresses his disappointment in Giustino and offers to help you search for him.
5. Follow Giovanni: Follow Giovanni to the location where Giustino is being ambushed by a Fatui Pyro Agent. Defeat the agent to progress the quest.
6. Talk to the Fatui Agent: After defeating the Fatui Pyro Agent, you'll learn that the agent's real target is Giulietta. The agent will leave, allowing you to return to the brothers.
7. Head to the Designated Location: Follow the quest marker to a designated location where you'll witness a cutscene with the siblings reconciling.
8. Complete the Quest and Claim Rewards: After the cutscene, the quest will conclude, and you'll receive the Slow Homecoming achievement, along with other rewards, such as Primogems and Mora.
Achievement and Rewards
Completing the Latecoming Homecoming quest unlocks the Slow Homecoming achievement, which rewards players with five Primogems. Additionally, players can visit the Court of Fontaine to claim 20 Fontaine Reputation EXP by interacting with the Steambird NPC.
