Genshin Impact has been a gacha gaming phenomenon, and with each update, the player experience evolves and improves. In the most recent Developer's Discussion for Version 4.5, Hoyoverse showed many new character-building features, providing players with extra tools and help for optimizing their characters. New Training Guide Feature
One of the most significant additions in the 4.5 update is the Training Guide feature. This tool will assist players in building their characters effectively. It offers personalized recommendations based on the choices of the active player base. The Training Guide can be accessed from the Paimon menu and consists of four tabs:
Character Level Tab: Guides on how high to ascend a character and where to find the required ascension materials.
Artifact & Weapon Tab: Suggests commonly used weapons and artifact configurations for each character, along with farming locations.
Character Talents Tab: Indicates the priority talents to upgrade for optimal performance, along with the required materials and their locations.
Optimizations for Character Talent Enhancement:
In addition to the Training Guide, developers have made optimizations to the character talent enhancement page. Starting from version 4.5, players can easily find the materials needed to upgrade a character's talent under the talent description. This includes displaying the current amount of materials the player has in their inventory.
Quality-of-Life And Side Activities
The 4.5 update will also bring several quality-of-life improvements, including a Claim All button for expedition rewards and a Fast Equip feature for artifacts. These additions aim to streamline the player experience and make managing characters more efficient.
Players can look forward to new side activities in the 4.5 update, including potion crafting and cat petting. These activities will provide players with additional ways to engage with the game world and add to the overall gameplay experience.
Introduction of Chiori and New Weapons
Version 4.5 will introduce a new five-star Geo character named Chiori, along with two new weapons: Urakugo Rensai (sword) and Dialogues of the Desert Sages (polearm). Chiori will be featured in a debut banner, while other banners will focus on rerun units.
