This guide will walk you through the steps to get the Dark Iron Sword in the recently introduced Chenyu Vale.
Dark Iron Sword Overview
The Dark Iron Sword is a rare 3-star weapon in Genshin Impact, initially available by talking to Chen the Sharp in Liyue Harbor. The sword provides Elemental Mastery and boosts ATK when triggering various elemental reactions like Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and more.
How to Get the Dark Iron Sword in Chenyu Vale
Step 1: Teleport to Mount Lingmeng and Enter Wangshan Hall
Begin your quest by teleporting to Mount Lingmeng. Head to Wangshan Hall on the right side, following the hallway to the library. Upon reaching a spacious room, locate a Common Chest near the broken pillars on the south wall. Interact with the chest to get your second copy of the Dark Iron Sword.
Step 2: Unlocking Wangshan Hall
Approach the entrance of Wangshan Hall and start a conversation with a representative of the Guhua Martial Arts School. Agree to wait for Huang the Third, who will go with you into the hall after completing two simple tasks. Follow him to different locations, including the library.
Step 3: Library Puzzle and Ancient Sword Interaction
Inside the library, lower the water levels by placing four scriptures on the correct shelves using Elemental Sight. Proceed to the middle of the chamber and touch the Engraved Inscription to start a trial. Follow the cave path, interact with the Ancient Sword, and complete the process.
Step 4: Claiming the Dark Iron Sword
After completing the trials, return to the spacious room and locate the Common Chest near the broken pillars on the south wall. Open the chest to get the second copy of the Dark Iron Sword.
