The Genshin Impact community eagerly gathered on 3rd November 2023 for the much-anticipated Version 4.2 Livestream event, hosted by Hoyoverse. Despite an initial delay due to unforeseen reasons, the Livestream went through without a hitch providing fans with an extensive look at the forthcoming patch, revealing exciting new features, characters, and, of course, coveted Primogem codes. How to use Genshin Impact Redeem Codes (November 2023)
Players who wish to redeem Genshin Impact codes will need to be at least Adventure Rank 10. Here’s how you can redeem the codes:
Visit the Genshin Impact Code Redemption portal
Log in using your Hoyoverse account
Select your server from the list provided
Enter the redemption code
Click on the “Redeem” button
Open Genshin Impact and claim your rewards through the in-game mail
Alternatively, you can open the Settings menu and head to Account > Redeem Code if you want to claim the codes in-game. You can use the same codes on multiple servers in case you play on multiple servers.
Genshin Impact 4.2 Banner Schedule
The livestream also revealed the banner schedule for the upcoming Fontaine update. The banners are divided into two phases:
Phase I (November 8 to November 29):
Furina (5-star Hydro)
Baizhu (5-star Dendro)
Charlotte (4-star Cryo)
Phase II (November 29 to December 20):
Ayato (5-star Hydro)
Cyno (5-star Electro)
With Furina and Charlotte arriving in the first phase and Baizhu making a return, players had a limited window to secure these new characters. The second phase introduced Ayato and Cyno, extending the excitement through the holiday season.
What to Expect in Version 4.2
Beyond new characters and banners, Version 4.2 of Genshin Impact promised various exciting updates. These included a new map expansion of Fontaine, quality-of-life improvements such as raising the number of pins to 200, several events, and even a weekly boss that dropped materials for Charlotte, Furina, and a new World Boss.
