Genshin Impact has some easter eggs and references that you may not know about. MiHoYo/Hoyoverse has added tons of them over the years and they are very easy to miss. The developers even snuck in a Honkai Star Rail in the Fontaine update that quite a few players caught on to. Here are ten easter eggs and fun facts about Genshin Impact that you might not have noticed yet.

10 Genshin Impact Easter Eggs That are Easy to Miss

Honkai Star Rail Warp: With the release of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, players noticed that in the 4.0 cutscene, there is a piece of paper that enters in a very dramatic fashion. This is the same animation as the warp ticket when you do a summon in Honkai Star Rail.

Barbara's "Let the Wind Lead" Dance: Barbara's idle animation resembles a dance move from the K-pop group Red Velvet's music video for "Russian Roulette."

Xiao's Attack Animations: Xiao's combat animations bear a striking resemblance to the character Vergil from the "Devil May Cry" series.

The Lost Riches Event: During this event, players can find a seelie (floating elemental creature) named "Seelie Celia." This is a reference to the late Filipino actress and singer Celia Rodriguez.

Albedo's Character Design: Albedo, a character in "Genshin Impact," is known for his striking resemblance to the artist Alphonse Mucha's art style, particularly in his outfit.

Venti's Lyre Performance: Venti's (Barbatos) in-game performance of the lyre is reminiscent of the character Apollo from the game "Hades."

Mona's Alchemy Book: Mona, a character who practices astrology and alchemy, has an alchemy book in her house that resembles the "Necronomicon," a fictional grimoire from H.P. Lovecraft's works.

Fischl's Fantasy Persona: Fischl's character is an homage to the "chuunibyou" phenomenon in Japanese culture, where individuals often have delusions of grandeur or possess supernatural abilities. Fischl believes herself to be a princess and a powerful sorceress.

Zhongli's Teapot Scene: In Zhongli's character quest, there is a scene where he interacts with a pet turtle. This scene is reminiscent of a similar scene in the Studio Ghibli film "My Neighbor Totoro."

Dainsleif's Scars: Dainsleif, a character introduced in the "Unreconciled Stars" event, has scars that resemble the constellation Orion.
