Lightsabers have arrived in the world of Lego Fortnite, bringing with them the elegance and power of these iconic weapons from the Star Wars universe. These elegant weapons, famously wielded by Jedi and Sith in the Star Wars universe, are powerful tools in the hands of players. But getting a lightsaber isn't as simple as crafting it; it requires a little effort and progression through the game. Here's a guide on getting your hands on a lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite.
Start the Star Wars Event
Ensure that the Star Wars event has begun in your Lego Fortnite world. Look for a large blue rift breaking through the sky, followed by Lego Star Wars ships engaging in midair combat. Once the main ship crashes on your island, the event is underway.
Locate the Rebel Outpost
Find the Rebel Alliance base on your island. This can be done by using Macrobinoculars given to you by Captain Bravara, which will reveal a nearby Rebel symbol that marks the entrance to a cave leading to the Rebel Outpost.
Upgrade the Rebel Outpost to Level 6
Help rebuild the Rebel Outpost to at least level six. To achieve this, follow these steps:
Clear the indicated plot of all debris.
Build the Rebel Farm and three beds.
Collect five pumpkins.
Place a crafting bench and craft three shortswords.
Clear the site for the stable, build the Rebel Stables, place a bed for Grrraaalf, and place at least one barn.
Defeat 10 stormtroopers and collect 20 plastoid.
Clear the site for the workshop, build the Rebel Workshop, place a bed for Myrnna, and place a Rebel Workbench.
Receive Your Lightsaber
Once the Rebel Outpost is upgraded to level six, Captain Bravara will reward you with a lightsaber as a token of appreciation for your efforts. Lightsabers do not break in Lego Fortnite, but they require a 10-minute recharge after their energy is drained.
Additional Ways to Obtain Lightsabers
Find one at the end of an Imperial Bunker, which can be located using Macrobinoculars after upgrading your Rebel Outpost to Level 6.
Inside the Imperial Bunker, defeat waves of stormtroopers in each area until you reach the final room with several chests, one of which will contain a lightsaber.
Lightsabers in Lego Fortnite function similarly to other melee weapons but can also destroy structures. Remember, once the lightsaber's energy is depleted, it will go into a 10-minute cooldown before it can be used again.
