WWE 2K24 Edition Differences Explained

WWEK 2K24 features three distinct editions - the standard edition, the digital cross-gen edition and the deluxe edition. Along with these three is the highly awaited 40 years of WrestleMania edition. Let us take a look at their pre-order bonuses as well as what each edition offers.

WWE 2K24: Standard Edition

WWE 2K24: Standard Edition

The Standard Edition of WWE 2K24 features the popular wrestling star Cody Rhodes, who is known for his WWE debut in 2006. He recently made his WWE comeback after working with All Elite Wrestling. The edition is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in both physical and digital formats. It is exclusively digital on PC via Steam. Priced at $59.99 USD for PS4 and Xbox One, and $69.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, this edition includes only the base game and no extra bonuses.

However, it does come with a redeemable code for one free month of Peacock, which is WWE's streaming service. This is only available if the game is bought by 14th April 2024. Players who have pre-ordered the game will also get access to the Nightmare Family Pack DLC, featuring classic wrestlers like "Superstar" Billy Graham and Dusty Rhodes from 1976, as well as three versions of Cody Rhodes: Stardust, Undashing Cody Rhodes, and Mattel Cody Rhodes.

Pre-orders also come with three MyFACTION cards: Dusty Rhodes ('76), Mattel Cody Rhodes, and Cody Rhodes' dog Pharaoh as a manager, usable in MyFACTION mode for building factions.

WWE 2K24: Cross-Gen Digital Edition

For those making the leap between console generations, the Cross-Gen Digital Edition is the edition you need. It comes with a game copy for a previous console like PS4 or Xbox One, with the option to upgrade to PS5 or Xbox Series X/S later. This is a digital-only release, making it easier for players during the transition. Like the Standard Edition, it also includes the Nightmare Family Pack DLC.

WWE 2K24: Deluxe Edition

WWE 2K24: Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K24 is the mid-tier choice. Upgrading to the Deluxe Edition brings additional perks and bonuses. It packs everything from the Standard Edition, including the Nightmare Family Pack and a Peacock demo.

It introduces a Mega-Boost and Supercharger, as well as bonuses for various modes. The Mega-Boost boosts the create-a-wrestlers in MyRISE career mode with 200 attribute points to allocate. Meanwhile, the Supercharger instantly unlocks all launch roster wrestlers. Additionally, it features MyFACTION Evo cards along with alternate attires for cover stars Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

WWE 2K24: 40 Years Of WrestleMania Edition

WWE 2K24: 40 Years Of WrestleMania Edition

The 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition of WWE 2K24 stands out as the ultimate package, priced at $119.99 USD. It has all bonuses that the remaining editions offer, while also delivering the ultimate WWE gaming experience. Featuring a unique cover design showcasing wrestlers from different eras, this edition unlocks all superstars in Showcase mode right away, allowing players to relive iconic WWE moments. Additional perks like a free generational upgrade and a one-month trial of Peacock streaming make it an enticing choice for die-hard fans.

It also offers an in-game recreation of the WrestleMania 40 arena. Furthermore, the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition includes five special attires for wrestlers based on their memorable WrestleMania matches: "Macho King" Randy Savage from WrestleMania 6, Rey Mysterio from WrestleMania 22, Triple H from WrestleMania 30, Charlotte Flair from WrestleMania 33, and Rhea Ripley from WrestleMania 36. Buyers will also receive a gold MyFACTION card for each attire.
