Players have to choose from 6 different characters, each with their own skills and abilities. You also have access to an array of weapons to decimate the undead. The narrative takes place 14 years after the first Dead Island and although it does not showcase any significant improvements, it still manages to capture your attention.

While it is technically not a completely new game, CS2 has gone through one of the biggest technical leaps of this year, featuring modernized mechanics while also retaining the core elements it is known for. This title still follows the traditional counter-strike formula that was established over two decades ago and it still attracts millions of gamers, earning its rightful spot as one of the best FPS franchises of all time.
