The Division 3: Everything We Know So Far

Earlier this year, we had reports stating that Ubisoft had no plans to bring another entry to the Division franchise. Now, there seems to be a change of plan; Ubisoft has revealed that The Division 3 is in development. The company revealed the news in a press release revealing Gerighty's new position.

 So, let's go over everything we know about The Division 3, release dates and platform, and much more.

The Division 3: All Development Details

Ubisoft Studios has officially confirmed Tom Clancy's The Division 3 and other details, which fans would be happy to hear about. 

You probably didn't notice The Division 3 was revealed because Ubisoft buried the news inside a corporate press reveal, announcing a new executive producer for the Division franchise, confirming Ubisoft has big plans for the series. 

Julian Gerighty, the mind behind Star Wars Outlaw, is the new executive producer for the Division Franchise. He was previously the associate creative director on the first game before becoming the lead creative director on the game's sequel. 

According to Ubisoft, Gerighty is building a team for The Division 3, which will be developed by Massive Entertainment. The publisher has also confirmed that it will continue supporting The Division 2. Beyond that, we really don't have much news about the next Division game. 

We know for a fact that The Division 3 is likely years away at this point, but there are at least two more Division games coming out sooner than later.

The Division 3: What to Expect?

It's still a bit too early to tell what exact features fans can expect from the upcoming Division game. According to Jullian Gerighty, The Division 3 needs to be of the highest quality because there's a need to protect its legacy. Players can expect the following features as they've been the core of the Division franchise –

2. PvP

3. Open-world RPG

The Division 3: What is the Release Date?

As of now, there's no official release date for The Division 3. As we've said before, Ubisoft has just started the development of the game, and it's years away from the actual release. It's unclear when any more information surrounding the release date will be revealed. 

The Division 3: What Platforms Will it Be On?

There's no official announcement for the platforms on which the game will be released. However, it's safe to assume that the game will launch on platforms similar to The Division 2, which are Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
