After the acquisition of Savage Game Studios last year, Sony embarked on its journey to bring first-party PlayStation titles to smartphones by creating their own PlayStation Studios Mobile Division. This has excited many mobile gamers as they can now potentially experience high-quality PlayStation titles on their own devices instead of purchasing a dedicated console. We expect Sony to follow a strategy similar to how they ported their exclusives to PC. That being said, here are some of the best PlayStation games that we would love to see on mobile devices.
Here Are Some of the Best PS Games That Would Look Amazing on Mobile
inFAMOUS Series
These action adventure titles were made by Sucker Punch Studios before long before their success in Ghost of Tsushima. There are three main entries in the series if you disregard the DLCs and they are:
inFAMOUS (2009)
inFAMOUS 2 (2011)
InFAMOUS Second Son (2014)
These titles can be considered as underrated gems which did not really garner the attention it deserved. Bringing the collection to mobile would certainly be the right choice as players get to experience quality gameplay along with compelling plotlines.
God of War
This 2018 Game of the Year title can certainly be considered Santa Monica Studios’ masterpiece as it redefined the God of War series showcasing Kratos’ humane side rather than the brutal and menacing god that he has always been. Apart from revamped gameplay, you will also go through an enticing narrative that made many gamers develop a closer bond to the God of War. Playing this game on a mobile device would certainly be a unique experience.
Grand Turismo Series
Playing through one of the best racing simulator series on a smartphone would definitely be an enticing experience. The series is currently at its 8th main installment with the release of Grand Turismo 7 which looks absolutely stunning on the PlayStation 5. Although we cannot expect the latest game to be ported over to a smartphone, getting a spin-off game inspired by the core elements of the franchise seems quite plausible.
Bloodborne
What better way to increase the brutality of a Souls game than to bring it to mobile? FromSoftware’s PS4 exclusive is arguably one of the most challenging games that made their way to the console. You take on the role of a lonely traveler who searches for answers in the cursed city of Yharnam, battling horrific and gruesome creatures along the way. Experiencing its detailed gothic environments on a mobile device would surely be a treat!
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
This latest entry into the legendary platformer franchise was released in 2021 for the PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games really set this apart from previous entries by creating one of the most dynamic environments in a modern game. This title was also ported over to PC and it ran flawlessly across numerous systems. Considering the excellent optimization for PCs, we hope to see this title make its way to mobile gaming sometime in the future.
