Undawn introduces Hollywood actor Will Smith, who makes his video game debut as the iconic survivor Trey Jones. The game features a vast open world with various landscapes, including grassy plains, underground mines, scorching deserts, murky swamps, and forsaken cities.

In a recent YouTube video, popular YouTuber Chaco gave a shout-out to Undawn for sponsoring his stream while praising the wide range of weapons available, such as guns, melee weapons, drones, decoy bombs, and auto turrets. He highlighted Undawn's impressive character customization options, which even allow players to upload their own pictures. However, the gameplay he featured was from the beta testing that took place in April.
