Star Wars Outlaws is the newest game in the Star Wars series which takes players on an action adventure open world experience across the virtual world of Outer Rim. Gamers take on the role of Kay Vess who is set on pulling off the greatest heist that the Outer Rim has ever seen. There are several things that players can do apart from just exploring the world and surviving. Players can also battle several different crime syndicates which provides for a really compelling gameplay experience.
Story and Setting of Star Wars Outlaw
This first ever open world Star Wars game that slots between the timelines of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. While we only know very little about the setting apart from the fact that it is set in Toshara, a new location in the Star Wars universe. Players experience the vast open world of the Outer Rim through the eyes of Kay Vess, an outlaw who is trying to survive the brutal galactic underworld.
The core storyline focuses on Kay attempting to pull off one of the biggest stunts ever in the history of the Outer Rim, all while trying to manage the Empire, the Syndicates and also deal with the elements of her past. Kay Vess is a brand new character added to the Star Wars universe. If players had observed the debut trailer for the game, they would understand that she has a bounty on her head.
Star Wars Outlaws Gameplay
Players will get to roam around the criminal underworld of Outer Rim doing whatever they can to survive. The game has a full reputation and a wanted system which is unlike any other Star Wars game. Star Wars Outlaw will allow players to take different approaches to scenarios. You either get the opportunity to be very quiet and stealthy or go all out guns blazing, which makes for a very fun open world action adventure experience.
Star Wars Outlaws Release Date
The game is expected to release in 2024 on consoles like the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5. Unfortunately there has not been any announcement made for its release on PC.
