Six Community-Created Custom Starcraft 2 Campaigns That You Need to Try

Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty is considered to be one of the best real-time strategy games of all time. It was released all the way back in 2010, which makes the game a little long in the tooth.  Regardless of its age, players have amassed thousands of hours into the game’s online multiplayer mode, and there are several tournaments still going strong to this day, with the recent one being ESL SC2 Masters 2023 Summer which had a prize pool of $75,000 USD.

However, if you are interested in playing Starcraft 2 for its campaign or if you want to replay it to hype yourself up for the third game, here are some really interesting custom campaign modes that you should definitely check out.

How to Play Custom Campaigns in Starcraft 2

If you are interested in playing custom campaigns for Starcraft 2, you must first download the campaign launcher from  sc2mapster. There are also simple instructions which will help you set up your launcher.

There are a lot of custom campaigns to choose from and it can get pretty overwhelming. Thankfully, Reddit user partisan_a has posted about six different custom campaigns made by some really talented creators on r/starcraft and on the Blizzard forums. Each of these campaigns comes with the name of the author, a short description of what it offers along with instructions on how to play them. Here are these custom campaign modes:
Wings of Liberty Reversed

“Play on the side of the villain and stop Raynor through the classic Wings Of Liberty missions. An Ultra Brutal difficulty is available with a very tough challenge. It also has achievements.”

Legacy of the Void: 3-Player Coop
