Resident Evil 4 Remake DLCs
The DLCs help players gain more insight into the base game and answer questions from other character’s points of view. In ‘Separate Ways’, players play as Ada Wong and have a Grappling Gun, an additional feature of this DLC. This gun can be used in fast paced situations, making rapid ascents, swinging across chasms and making melee attacks. Players can also engage in distant combat, as this gun is suitable for both close and far off shooting.
In this DLC, Ada Wong is reunited with Leon S. Kennedy during his search for the president’s missing daughter. Simultaneous to this mission is the other DLC that went live on the same day - The Mercenaries. The Mercenaries introduce both Ada Wong and Albert Wesker, her notorious employer - both of them as playable characters as a bonus.
Wong travels to a lonely and rural part of Europe to a village that is under the reign of a religious group called Los Illuminados. As per the orders from Albert Wesker, she is assigned to acquire a mysterious material, Amber. It is Los Illuminados’ darkest secret. However, the storyline is designed in such a way that it ends up intertwining with ‘The Mercenaries’ storyline.
Therefore, players get to experience the game in different ways, offering a new insight into the world of Resident Evil 4.
