The Nvidia RTX 4000 Super graphics card rumors are spinning up again, as the company will apparently reveal a refreshed lineup at CES 2024.
Here's everything you need to know about Nvidia 4000 Super GPUs.

It seems like the rumors that NVIDIA is all set to launch a series of RTX 4000 Super GPUs are true, after all.

It’s no secret that Nvidia RTX 4000 Super Graphics Cards are due soon and will be among the best graphics cards that are bang for your buck, but we had no real sign of a possible release date until now.

Following the original claims that the green team is working on three variants of Super cards, leaker kopite7kimi, a reliable source for Nvidia and AMD GPU news, suggested that an official launch would happen at CES 2024.

Nvidia had already confirmed that it would be at CES and had three conference rooms booked, but it hasn’t announced any events or keynotes until now. We now have an official confirmation that NVIDIA will be hosting a special address on 8th January 2024 at 8 AM PT, where the 4000 Super GPUs announcement is expected to take place.

Nvidia Will Unveil RTX 4000 Super GPUs In Early 2024

While we don’t have a mention of the RTX 4000 Super series in Nvidia’s announcement, it’s not like they won’t be there. Right before CES 24 2024, in a special address, Nvidia’s head of PC business, Jeff Fischer, revealed the RTX 4070 TI despite no confirmation of its release beforehand.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 Super GPU family brings three cards – RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Super, and RTX 4070 Ti Super.

RTX 4080 Super

Early leaks suggest that RX 4080 would make use of the AD102 GPU and come with 20GB of memory. However, it’s most likely to feature a less-powerful AD103-400 GPU and GB of DDR6X VRAM, with a 256-bit bus interference. There’s a chance that NVIDIA might discontinue the regular RTX 4080 in favor of the new Super model.

RTX 4070 Super

The RTX 4070 Super is expected to have two configurations – AD104-350 or AD103-175 SKU, with the same 7,168 crores. When compared to the vanilla 4070, RTX 4070 Super will come with a TBP that’s 30 watts higher and is expected to offer a performance increase of around 14%. The graphics card will also be equipped with a new CEM 5.1 Gen5 power connector.

RTX 4070Ti Super

NVIDIA also plans to bring the new RTX 4070 Ti Super, equipped with various AD103-275 and AD 102-175 GPU SKUs, offering a total of 8,448 cores and 48 MB L2 cache. Reports suggest that the card will sit between the standard version of the card and RTX 4080. It’s expected that we’ll see an increase in the VRAM from 12 GB to 16 GB.

Nvidia 4000 Super GPUs Pricing

We don’t have a word on pricing yet, but if the claims that some current cards are being discontinued prove true, then the prices for the Super versions might be the same as or at least close to those of the vanilla versions. We’re bound to find out more on 8th January 2024.
