There's no doubt that Mortal Kombat 1 is one of the most anticipated releases for 2023. Since MK1's first reveal in May 2023, we've received quite a bit more information about the title. Fans have already started pre-ordering their copies, and the beta already happened in August, allowing players to get their first taste of the game.
After years of waiting, we're just a few weeks away from the launch. With the launch so close, leaks are bound to happen, and that's exactly the case here: Mortal Kombat 1's entire roster has been leaked online.
Mortal Kombat 1 Roster Leak
We all know that a fighting game is only as strong as its roster of fighters. It's the selection of characters that make or break a fighting game. There have been teases from Ed Boon suggesting a return of Mortal Kombat 4 characters, which means that we're going to see some of the MK fatalities in a revamped form. Even without the leaks, the official trailers have allowed us to get a look at half of the launch roster.

However, this is not the full roster. Mortal Kombat 11 launched with a huge roster of 25 characters, so all MK1 fans can expect more fighters to join the roster at the game's launch. A leak on Reddit has confirmed all but the 24th MK1 fighter. You'll probably need to play through the game to unlock this fighter.
Pre-Order Exclusive Characters
If you're pre-ordering Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm has a bonus for you. Players who are pre-ordering the game can expect extra fighters. Ermac and Shang Tsung would be released as pre-order bonuses, and these fighters can help boost your base roster.
