The Invasion mode showcases a board-game-styled map with a 3D top-down perspective. It contains mini-games, individual battles, and treasures. As mentioned above, the invasion mode offers more of an arcade-style gameplay that has several mini-games. One such is the invasion mode Klues which features unique animations and provides in-game rewards upon solving the puzzles successfully. NetherRealm Studios has mentioned that it will continue to provide new updates to the game mode once every six weeks. Here are all the answers to Invasion Klues which have been solved so far:
Toasty: Finish the match with Kameo Scorpion’s fatality
In order to complete this puzzle, you need to equip Scorpion as your Kameo partner. Once you are closer to the Finish Him screen, you must perform Scorpion’s Toasty! Fatality move on your opponent, and this will unlock a new path or a node.
Destroy the world: Finish the match with Cyrax’s fatality
This puzzle is jumbled up as ESDORYT TEH DWLOR. In order to complete this one, you need to equip Cyrax as your Kameo and finish your opponent with his “Annihilation” fatality which will drop several bombs on the floor, leading up to a really cool animation. It also gives the possibility to unlock Subzero as a Kameo character.
Erteca Aosch: Finish the match with Havik’s fatality
“Create Chaos” requires you to equip Haviks as a Kameo character and finish your opponent with Atomic Heart. Do note that you need to be at a close distance to execute it successfully.
Flipping out: Flip stance on the “finish her” screen
Requires you to flip your stance in order to solve it. It is crucial that you flip your stance at least 20 to 30 times in order to achieve it.
Dedaerht: Finish the match with Ashrah’s fatality
“Threaded” requires you to equip Ashrah as your Kameo and perform her simple yet brutal fatality which leaves your opponent torn into pieces.
The other straightforward Invasion Klues are as follows:
Quackx10: Duck 10 times during the match
Talisman4: Equip a talisman with four slots
Inner Demon: Finish your opponent with Sareena’s fatality
kcirt tah: Kung Lao’s Fatality
“Hat Trick” requires you to equip Kung Lao as a Kameo and perform his fatality
Another Test Subject: Perform Shang Tsung’s fatality
Use the element that brings life: Execute Rain's fatality.
