Eventually, as the subscription count increased, this deal was nowhere to be found which meant you had to pay the regular price of $16.99 USD / €14.99 EUR / ₹549 INR per month for the Game Pass Ultimate Subscription. However, this popular deal has been brought back now and numerous gamers are excited to claim it. Here’s what you need to know.
Microsoft’s Game Pass Promo Deal Now Has a Shorter Duration
As mentioned above, the company has brought back the popular promo deal and it can be claimed for the same $1 USD / €1 EUR / ₹50 INR price, as long as you are a new subscriber and have a Microsoft account. This has presumably been done by the company considering the Black Friday week. However, this is not the first time Microsoft has brought back the offer. The company has re-introduced and removed the deal numerous times over the last couple of years.
So what changes this time you ask? Well, the duration. This offer used to have a 30-day day trial period until it automatically renews your subscription for the following month. However, this time frame has been shortened by half, now offering you the service only for 14 days.
Besides that, there have been no significant changes to the way the service works. This deal is available in numerous regions and offers both the Game Pass Ultimate and the PC Game Pass subscription for the same price, which means you must pick the former as it will grant you access to the Xbox Cloud gaming service as well.
Unfortunately, this offer does not seem to be applicable to India and you will still have to pay the full price to purchase Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, the deal is still available for new PC Game Pass subscribers.
