Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 FNSM App: How to Use the App, FNSM Requests, and More
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is packed to the brim with several gameplay features, most of which are overhauled from the previous entries in the series. As the game progresses, you will unlock the Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man app (FNSM), which serves as an intuitive way to keep track of numerous missions spread across New York City. This feature was first introduced in 2020’s Miles Morales and it has been carried over to the new game with a few updates. The app is supposedly developed by Ganke Lee, who is Mile’s best friend and confidante. Let’s dive right in and take a look at the special side quests it brings to the table.
How Does the FNSM App Work in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
In order to unlock this app, you need to play through the One Thing At A Time quest, which occurs right after you beat Sandman. Apart from helping Ganke reboot the app, this mission also makes you go through various tasks in an effort to repair the city after Sandman’s rampage.
Once the FNSM app is unlocked, players can use it to track both their main and side quests without having to head into the game menu. Even though you can open the app by swiping left on the touchpad, the game also gives you the option to bind the left or right D-pad to open it. You can also use the app to seamlessly transition between Peter and Miles at any time.
For the most part, this app is similar to the one present in the second title as it notifies and lets you track activities and quests near you. However, it also brings new additions such as FNSM requests which are unique quests that involve aiding several citizens of New York. These special missions are separated from the main and side quests as they are denoted by a blue Spider-Man icon.
How Many FNSM Missions Are Present in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Currently, there are a total of six FNSM requests present in the game, each of which will grant you rewards in the form of XP, Tech Parts, and Hero Tokens. They are:
