List of Games Coming to iPhone 15 Pro
After months of leaks and anticipation, Apple has finally taken the wraps off its iPhone 15 series. All leaks have proved to be true; Apple has gotten rid of the Lightning Port for USB C. They’ve introduced significant changes to the iPhone, but there’s something more for gamers. With its A17 Pro chip, gamers can play their favorite triple AAA games on the go. These games aren’t just watered-down mobile spin-offs or cloud-streamed; they are full Console and PC titles.
iPhone 15 Pro Gets Modern AAA Console/PC Games
In a major stride forward for mobile gaming, Apple announced during today’s iPhone 15 Series launch event that PC and Console games are now coming to the new pro model.
In the gaming segment of iPhone 15’s launch event, Apple highlighted the power of the iPhone 15 Pro’s A17 Pro chip. It’s a 3-nanometer chip with 19 billion transistors, a six-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine that can handle 35 trillion operations per second. The chip also has a six-core GPU that supports ray tracing and mesh shading.
Apple featured several different games following the A17 Pro’s introduction to show off its power. Here’s a list of games coming to iPhone 15 Pro confirmed by Apple –
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Resident Evil Village
Resident Evil 4 Remake
We also got to see The Division Resurgence for iPhone 15 during the event. We already knew this mobile-only game was coming to the iPhone, so it wasn’t a big surprise.
This is just the beginning for PC/Console ports for Pro series . We still need to see how these games and the future ports will perform. It’s important to see how demanding games would impact the iPhone 15 Pro’s battery life. But you can’t deny the fact that the whole idea of playing modern AAA games on mobile phones is amazing. It’s not like you’re playing them through a cloud service; they will run natively.
What Is The Release Date For New iPhone 15 Pro Games?
As for the release dates, Death Stranding, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 4 Remake are coming to iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro later this year. It’s going to take some time for Assassin Creed Mirage’s launch, but it’s expected to come in the first half of 2024 for the Pro series. It’s a bit late when compared to PC and console releases, but it’s probably because Ubisoft needs time to polish the iOS port.
That’s every confirmed game we have so far for the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple’s latest 17 Pro chip is certainly taking mobile gaming to the next level. Be sure to follow us as we’ll update you as more games are announced for the iPhone 15 series.
