Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is expected to launch in 2024 for PC and current-gen consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The game will be officially revealed by Warhorse and Deep Silver studios today, 18th April, at 8 PM CEST / 11:30 PM IST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.

Following the success of their critically acclaimed immersive open-world RPG, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver are all set to announce the highly-anticipated sequel, dubbed “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” (KCD 2). The game’s unveiling was slated for today, 18th April, at 8 PM CEST / 11:30 PM IST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT .

However, eager fans caught a sneak peek of the trailer ahead of its schedule, thanks to a leaked preview from IGN. While many expected the game to be released later, fans were thrilled to learn that KCD 2 is set to launch in 2024, marking a return to the medieval world on current-gen consoles and PCs. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Will Be Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2024

As observed in the leaked trailer, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is slated for release in 2024, set to captivate gamers on current-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and also on PC. Unfortunately, fans of the first game on older-gen consoles like the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the handheld Nintendo Switch will be disappointed to know that KCD 2 won’t be available on these platforms, presumably due to hardware limitations.

With Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arriving six years after the first game’s launch in 2018, fans can expect graphical improvements and stunning visuals to captivate its audience. Besides this, we can also anticipate improved gameplay mechanics such as better combat, skill trees, perks, more dynamic NPC interactions, and more.

The leaked trailer hints at the continuation of Henry’s saga, as he embarks on various new adventures. While the focus might still remain on Bohemia, there is a possibility that Henry’s escapades will take him further through medieval Europe, rich with diverse cultures, landscapes, and historical events making for the perfect setting to explore.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is arguably one of the most underrated open-world RPGs out there. The game had a rough launch as it with riddled with bugs and glitches in its initial phase, resulting in it receiving a lot of mixed reviews from critics and gamers alike.

However, the developers sorted this out, and the game now stands at a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, selling over 6 million copies across all platforms as of February 2024.
