Imagine Dragons Releases Official Starfield Song Called 'Children of the Sky'
We are less than a week away from the release of the highly anticipated Starfield. The game has got several fans excited and to add to it, Bethesda Game Studios has collaborated with the famous pop rock band Imagine Dragons to bring us a song called Children of the Sky. The song dropped yesterday on the 30th August on several platforms including Youtube with Bethesda showcasing a World Fly Through as the background for the song.
Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds Is a Fan of Bethesda’s Games
In a press statement, the frontman of the band Dan Reynolds, mentioned that the band is honoured to have collaborated with Bethesda to make Children of the Sky. Being a huge fan of video games, he says that he has played the studios’ games for most of his life. He also adds
“The song, like the game, asks some of the most difficult questions we face as humans trying to find our place in the universe.”
Furthermore, Starfield’s composer Inon Zur also shared his excitement in a press statement of his own. “The band has created an amazing, emotional, and memorable song, and I joined them in crafting the Starfield motif into the song as well as iconic elements from the Main Theme and the Starfield orchestral treatment,” He considers this collaboration to be a massive celebration for Starfield and hopes that the same feels the same way as well.
Imagine Dragons’ songs have been featured in several games in the past. Their song Warriors was used during the promo of the 2014 World Championship for League of Legends. They also made Enemy for the 2021 animated Netflix series called Arcane, which is also based on the League of Legends universe.
Starfield will be available on 6th September for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Players who bought the Premium and Constellation edition of the game will be granted early access on 1st September.
