How to Use the Research Desk in PlateUp!
PlateUp! is a cooking simulator game in which players run a restaurant. And one of the most important components of running a successful business is appliance upgrades. The Research Desk is an essential tool for this career, allowing players to research and upgrade many equipment such as the stove, sink, oven, and others.
Using the Research Desk in PlateUp!
Setup: The Research Desk must be placed next to a Blueprint Cabinet, which is received for free at the beginning of the game.
Select an Item: Place an upgradeable appliance blueprint in the Blueprint Cabinet. This will be the item you intend to upgrade using the Research Desk.
Upgrade Process: At the start of each in-game day, walk to the Research Desk and interact with it. Select the appliance you want to upgrade from the list of available blueprints in the Cabinet.
Finalize Upgrade: Once you've selected the appliance, the Research Desk will upgrade it. The upgraded appliance will then appear in the Blueprint Cabinet.
Purchase and Placement: After the round ends, you can purchase the upgraded appliance from the Cabinet and place it in your restaurant.
Limitation: Note that you can only upgrade one appliance per in-game day.
