Crafting is a fundamental aspect of survival and progress in LEGO Fortnite. One of the key elements of crafting is the Loom, a versatile utility station that allows players to create essential fabrics and items. Unlocking and getting the Loom doesn’t require any special quests or objectives but just collecting the required materials. Here’s how you can get and use the Loom in LEGO Fortnite.

What Is the Loom Used For in LEGO Fortnite?

The Loom is a high-end Crafting Station in LEGO Fortnite that serves as a vital tool for creating fabric-based items. With the Loom, players can craft Silk and Wool Fabrics, which are essential for creating a variety of items, including the Glider, furniture, and other important tools and gear.

How to Unlock the Loom

Unlocking the Loom involves gathering specific materials and upgrading your Crafting Bench to a sufficient level. Here's a step-by-step guide to unlocking the Loom:

  1. Gather Flexwood: Head to the desert biome, specifically the Dry Valley, and harvest Flexwood from cacti. You'll need a Rare-tier Forest Axe, crafted using Cut Amber and Knotroot Rods, to harvest Flexwood.

  2. Collect Sand Claws: Defeat Sand Wolves in the beach and valley biome to obtain Sand Claws.

  3. Upgrade Your Crafting Bench: Progress through various upgrades to your Crafting Bench, including crafting specific tools and materials, such as the Rare Pickaxe and Rare Forest Axe.

How to Craft a Loom

Once you've gathered the necessary materials and upgraded your Crafting Bench, you can proceed to craft the Loom. Here's what you'll need:

  • 9x Flexwood

  • 8x Flexwood Rod

  • 6x Sand Claw

Using the build menu, select the Loom from the Utility section and find a suitable location to place it. Keep in mind that the Loom cannot be used in the rain, so ensure it's placed under cover.

Using the Loom

The Loom serves as a key tool for crafting fabrics, which are essential for creating advanced items such as the Glider. Players can create Silk Fabric and Wool Fabric by using Silk Thread and Wool Thread, respectively, which are made from Silk and Wool using a Spinning Wheel.

Silk can be obtained by defeating spiders, while Wool can be collected from sheep. With a steady supply of fabric, players can craft a wide range of items and furniture to enhance their gameplay experience.
