Blue Protocol is a brand new free-to-play online RPG developed by Project Sky Blue belonging to Bandai Namco. The game has been available for Japan from 14th June, with the global release set for 2024. If you are interested in getting your hands on the Japanese version of the game, you have stumbled upon the right article, where you will see the steps and requirements needed to play this game.
Blue Protocol Japanese Version
There are several steps required to get your hands on the Japanese version of Blue Protocol. We would like to clarify that you need to have a separate VPN connection to access the Japanese version of the game. This goes against the game’s terms of service, so we do not advise you to do so. The steps mentioned here are only for experimental purposes.
Use any reputed VPN and change your location to Japan
Head over to the Japanese page for Bandai Namco
Login / sign up for a Bandai Namco account( we recommend creating a new one just in case)
Download and install the Bandai Namco Launcher
Once the installation is done, sign into your Bandai Namco Account
On the top left side of the screen, you will see the Blue Protocol image
Upon clicking on it, you will now see an orange button on the bottom right to download the game
Go through the prompts and install the game in your drive of choice
You will now see another orange button on the bottom of the screen which will start the game if you click on it.
There are massive risks associated with playing Blue Protocol outside Japan
While you can install Blue Protocol outside Japan and play the Japanese version of the game, Bandai Namco does not approve of it. The game will work, but you may get banned even if you use a VPN. We recommend going through the installation process only if you want to try the game out. If you want to play the game extensively, we recommend waiting for the full release instead.
