It is only a matter of a few days before players are able to experience the expanded world of Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty DLC. The launch is exclusive to current generation devices like Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. Along with this launch, Code Projekt Red will also release the 2.0 update for it, making this the first and last DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. Fans are eagerly awaiting the launch, ready to move away from the disastrous gaming past that was the original Cyberpunk 2077. Unlocking the Phantom Liberty DLC
Phantom Liberty is jam packed with new and exciting content that will embellish your gaming experience. While Cyberpunk 2077 allowed you to explore certain areas of the Night City, Phantom Liberty will open the gates to one of its subdistricts, Dogtown. This is a relatively small piece of land, but dangerous regardless. It was forged as a result of the Unification War between the New United States and the Free States.
The DLC is stacked with new weapons, offering an all new experience. In order to access the DLC, players will need to complete the ‘I Walk The Line’ quest in Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077. If your excitement cannot hold you further, you can jump straight into the Phantom Liberty lore by picking the content from the Cyberpunk 2077 main menu. However, you will have to create a new character, if you follow this path.
This means, you do not have to beat the entire Cyberpunk 2077 in order to enjoy Phantom Liberty.

Not only this, Code Projekt Red has also released an infographic on X (formerly Twitter) that goes in-depth describing what the update 2.0 will offer for both paid and free users.
The DLC will be available on 26th September 2023. There is no information regarding any preloading yet. However, fans can keep an eye out for any such updates on the official Code Projekt Red Twitter account.
