Are you ready to take to the skies in LEGO Fortnite? With the right knowledge and a bit of creativity, you can construct your very own plane in LEGO Fortnite. While flying in LEGO Fortnite's Sandbox mode is straightforward, navigating the skies in Survival mode requires a bit more effort. In this guide, we'll take you through the steps of building and flying your own plane in LEGO Fortnite, whether you're in the Sandbox or Survival mode.
What do You Need to Build a Plane in LEGO Fortnite
Before you begin building your aircraft, you'll need to gather the necessary materials. This includes wood, vines, blast powder, and other resources. You'll also need access to utility stations like the loom and spinning wheel to craft items such as cords and silk fabric. Here's a breakdown of the basic resources you'll need:
Wood x51
Wooden Rods x4
Flexwood x8
Vines x6
Blast Powder x7
Torches x8
Silk Fabric x6
Cords x4
Once you've collected all the required materials, you can begin constructing your aircraft.
Building Your Plane
Before you can take to the skies, you'll need to craft your plane. Here's what you'll need to build:
Dynamic Foundation: This will serve as the base structure of your aircraft.
Balloons: Large Balloons are essential for lifting your aircraft off the ground.
Thrusters: Thrusters or Large Thrusters will provide propulsion for your aircraft.
Activation Switch: This switch will control the movement of your aircraft.
Start by constructing a Dynamic Foundation, which will serve as the base of your aircraft. You can build a larger platform by snapping together multiple Dynamic Foundations, but keep in mind that this will require more Balloons and Thrusters to lift off.
Next, attach Thrusters or Large Thrusters to your platform. Distribute them evenly across one side of the platform to ensure balanced propulsion. These Thrusters will propel your aircraft forward while in the air.
Attach Large Balloons to your platform to provide lift. Ensure that at least one Balloon is placed in the center of your Dynamic Foundation for stability. If needed, add additional Balloons to the corners of your platform to achieve lift.
Flying Your Aircraft
Once your aircraft is constructed, it's time to take to the skies. Activate your aircraft's engine by interacting with the Activation Switch near the Thrusters. This will start the propulsion system and lift your aircraft off the ground.
Due to the absence of a steering wheel in LEGO Fortnite, steering your aircraft requires some ingenuity. To turn left, unbalance the sides of your platform by placing blocks on the left edge. Removing or adjusting these blocks allows you to control the direction of your aircraft.
To land your aircraft, place heavy blocks evenly distributed on your platform. This will cause your aircraft to descend slowly and safely to the ground.
