If you're wondering how to remove Wanted Status in Palworld, here's our guide to help you.

In Palworld, the concept of being wanted is just like the GTA games, signifying you’ve committed a crime, and now the local law enforcement on Palpagos Islands is pursuing you.

The Palpagos Island Defense Force (PIDF) won’t show any mercy, and once you’re wanted, the pursuit will only end when you’re brought to justice. The challenge now relies on avoiding or removing your wanted to resume status as a law-abiding citizen in the immersive world of Palword. In this article, let’s take a look at how you can remove your Wanted Status in Palworld.

What is the Wanted Status in Palworld?

Palpagos Island has a dedicated police force called the “Palpagos Island Defense Force.” If you break any laws, the PIDF will change you. Breaking the law includes attacking local residents or innocent island dwellers who are minding their own business.

You can also acquire wanted status if you enter into restricted areas on the island. You can see the wanted status on the top right of your screen alongside the charges against you. The higher your charges are, the more difficult the police chase will be. The soldiers who will run after you belong to PIDF, and they’re quite ruthless. They will appear around level 30 and make quick work of anyone who isn’t ready to face their wrath. It’s important to get rid of the wanted status as soon as possible.

How to Remove Wanted Status in Palworld?

There are three simple ways to clear the bounty on your head, and each of them comes with their own rewards and risk –

Option 1: Die to Clear Your Record

The best way to remove Wanted status in Palworld is simply by dying. Once the police have taken you down, your record will be cleared. The only drawback to this method is that you’ll have to return to the scene of your death to get back any valuable items you were carrying, but a lot of time is worth it.

Option 2: Run and Try to Evade

If you want to preserve your inventory or may not want to die, you simply need to run away from the scene of the crime. You need to distance yourself sufficiently from the area and hide from the PIDF units. You can evade police by using simple traversal strategies like going up and down cliffs or crossing bodies of water.

Option 3: Fight it Out!

The final option is the most difficult one when you’re starting out, but it’s the most fun way. You simply need to fight them. If nobody sees your crime, you might as well avoid getting rid of Wanted status altogether. Eliminate all witnesses of your initial crime to prevent acquiring Wanted status. Similarly, you can kill all of the PIDF officers who are pursuing you, making it much easier to turn and evade them. However, if you carry any valuables, running and hiding might be better than engaging in combat with PIDF.
