Diablo 4 Season 3 has introduced a new threat that plans to destroy Sanctuary with the help of Loom, a mysterious technology crafted by Mages. To put an end to it, Wanderers must explore the new underground areas, housing the entities that want to bring the world of Diablo 4 to an end.
The ‘Vaults’ are filled with traps and Constructs, which challenge players to defeat Herald Construct and earn rewards. In this guide, we’ll reveal how to unlock Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3.
What are Vaults in Diablo 4?
The Vault is a brand-new type of dungeon where you’ll come across monsters and traps and face hordes of constructs. According to the season’s storyline, the Vaults are buried beneath Kehjistan. There are four types of Vaults accessible through the Gatehall. The fifth one is the Vault of the Loom, in which you’ll find Malphas.
You must fight your way through the corridors to reach the loot room. Vault Gates can also be found in the open world. You might see them on the map; they resemble Dungeons. Entering will take you into a small dungeon with a gate at the end, which will take you into a Vault.
After completing Vaults, you’ll be rewarded with a Hardwoven Chest containing Legendary Items and Shattered Stones, which you can craft into Tuning and Governing Stones at Jewelers found in the Sanctuary.
How Can You Unlock Vaults in Diablo 4?
To unlock Vaults in Diablo 4, you must complete the Seasonal Questline called ‘The Span of our Arms.’ You must go to the Gatehall and speak with Ayuzhan to finish the quest. Once you’ve done this, you’ll get access to the following Vaults -
Vault of Copper
Vault of Stone
Vault of Cinders
Vault of the Loom
Vault of Ink
If you’re playing at World Tier II, you can also unlock Nightmare Vaults. They can be unlocked with Vault Sigils, which will drop with Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, or craft, which needs Pearls of Warding to craft.
