Are you wondering how to change your character's appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2? Here's a guide to help you.

There's no doubt that embarking on an epic journey in Dragon's Dogma 2 is an incredible experience, but what if your character and pawn's appearance doesn't match your vision? Don't worry; Dragon's Dogma 2 offers multiple ways to revamp your appearance without starting from scratch. In this guide, we'll reveal how to change your character's appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2.

How Can You Change Appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2?

To change your character's appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2, you must visit a Barberie shop, which is represented by scissors on the map, and pay the requested amount of gold. In Barberies, you change your character's hairstyle, makeup, and marking. However, all of this costs gold, so it's crucial to make sure you have enough cash on hand if you want to change your character's appearance according to your preferences.

If you're short on gold, you can change your character's appearance by bringing an Art of Metamorphosis to a Barberie. This will allow you to choose the "Modify Appearance" option and completely revamp your Arisen and main pawn.

How Can You Get Art of Metamorphosis in Dragon's Dogma 2?

You can visit the Grand Riftstone of Vermund to purchase an Art of Metamorphosis. Here, you can purchase this item for 500 Rift Crystals (RC) from a merchant called Neomith. You'll get RC by finding them in chests, and as rewards when you select pawn quests for your main pawn.

However, Neomith only has limited copies of the Art of Metamorphosis. If you purchase one, you can switch either your Arisen's or your main pawn's appearance; you'll need to purchase both books to switch both appearances. Using Art of Metamorphosis allows you to jump back into character creation, but it's not exactly from scratch. You won't be able to switch between humans and beastren, but that's the only restriction. Everything else is available to tweak; you can even use this to increase your body weight and size to increase your inventory.

If you want to avoid going through the tedious grind of getting Rift Crystals, you can directly purchase Art of Metamorphosis for $1.99 USD to edit your character.
