What makes this boss distinct from the rest is its ability to identify your party’s weaknesses, proving to be a formidable threat that demands a proper strategy to be taken down. How to Beat Clairvoyant Relic in Persona 3 Reload?
The most frustrating part of this fight is knowing that the Clairvoyant Relic does not have any elemental weaknesses, which means players must rely on a few strategic decisions to take it down. The first thing you need to do is make sure your party members are not weak against Ice, Fire, Wind, and Shock magic, as this boss can effectively dish out massive damage using them.
This means characters like Junpei, Yukari, and Akihiko will take a significant hit if attacked. It is also capable of blocking both Light and Dark attacks, so the second step is to debuff the Relic using characters’s abilities such as:
Junpei’s Rakukaja: Boosts the Defensive abilities of an ally
Akihiko’s Tarunda: Lowers the attack rates of the enemy
Yukari’s Sukunda: Lowers the accuracy of an enemy
Yuki’s Tarukaja: Increases an ally’s attack rates
During the first move, the Clairvoyant Relic will analyze and identify everyone’s weaknesses which means you will not take a significant hit to any of your characters. Following this, players must make sure they utilize the abilities of all party members to effectively take down this mini-boss.
While Akihiko and Yukari will attack for the first three turns, they will begin using their aforementioned skills to apply negative status effects on the relic. Junpie on the other hand will remain a pacifist, only providing his Rakukaja defense buffs to himself along with Akihiko and Yukari. Make sure Yuki also attacks for the same three turns and then applies Tarukaja on himself to keep the ball rolling. Players must also try to use Physical attacks, considering that the Clairvoyant Relic is pretty much immune to other attack types.
Executing melee attacks with potent characters like Junpei and Akihiko means you increase your chances of performing a critical hit, ultimately ending the fight early as the boss has no resistance against it. If you continue with the range of attacks mentioned above, while also using Yukari for healing, you will soon see the boss lose its hold on your party, allowing you to effectively take it down.
