Starting 6th May for new players and 4th June for existing ones, linking a PlayStation Network (PSN) account will be mandatory to continue playing the game on Steam. Initially optional due to "technical issues" at launch, this mandate has sparked a wave of negative reviews on Steam and divided the game's community.
The Announcement Came Out of Nowhere
