About Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima takes place in 1274 Japan on the island of Tsushima, the first line of defense against a massive Mongol invasion. You play as Jin Sakai, a young samurai warrior who witnesses the brutal slaughter of his people by the Mongol forces led by the ruthless Khotun Khan.

Jin, along with his uncle Lord Shimura, the leader of the samurai on Tsushima, tries to defend the island but is ultimately defeated. Jin is left for dead, witnessing the fall of his home and the capture of his uncle.

Forced to abandon the traditional and honorable samurai code, Jin adopts a new, unconventional fighting style known as the "Way of the Ghost." This involves employing stealth, deception, and tactics considered dishonorable by samurai tradition, such as using smoke bombs and assassinations.
