The new 26.40 update introduces new content, including the highly anticipated Ashoka Tano Star Wars skin. Not only is Ahsoka joining the Battle Royale, but Force powers are returning to Fortnite after showing up earlier this year in the Find The Force event.

Fortnite update v26.20 was launched on Tuesday, 26th September 2023, at 3 PM PT. Downtime for the latest Fortnite update has already ended and servers are back online, so you can board the Battle Bus whenever you want!
Fortnite Update 26.20: Ahsoka Tano Star Wars Skin is Here
If you're an Ahsoka fan, this update is for you. The headline addition to Fortnite update 26.20 is Ahsoka Tano; her skin is finally available for players to unlock after being teased at the beginning of the season.
To unlock the new skin, you must purchase the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass, which unlocks a series of quests. Complete each one, and you'll be able to play as Ahsoka Tano in Fortnite.
Fortnite Update 26.20: Star Wars Lightsabers & Blasters Return
Fortnite is celebrating Ahsoka's debut in the Battle Royale by bringing back the Star Wars weapons that we last saw in Season 2. Players can now pick up Lightsabers around the map and have an epic duel.
Additionally, Force abilities are also making a comeback. These allow players to push and pull their enemies; they can be unlocked by interacting with Rift Gates.
Fortnite Update 26.20: New Augmentations
Every Fortnite update brings new augmentations to the game, completely changing players' gameplay. For all the deadeyes out there, v26.20 brings Marksman Headshots Reality to augment, allowing Marksman Rifle headshots to deal increased damage.
There's also the addition of Ninja Training augment, which grants players increased movement speed while crouching, which is useful when heisting Thorne's properties.
Fortnite Update 26.20: New Item Shop Redesign
The new update also revamps the look of the Item shop and introduces a new sidebar with categories.
Rumors have been spreading around the community that a massive change in the game's UI will come out soon; a redesign of the appearance of the item shop is the first step toward the new interface.
Fortnite Update 26.20: New Skins and Cosmetics
It's not a Fortnite update without the addition of new skins. Multiple new skins have been added to the game files, which we're soon going to see in the Fortnite Item shop. As always, these skins will be available individually as well as in bundles for players to purchase.
