The highly anticipated Fallout TV show is arriving even earlier than expected after Prime Video confirmed a new release date for the series.
The post-apocalyptic series will release all eight episodes on 10th April 2024, launching earlier than its initial release date.

Although we're still years away from the next Fallout game, the highly anticipated Fallout show won't suffer from the same fate. If you have a Prime Video subscription, you'll be able to enjoy the series early, as Prime Video has shifted its premiere date. The surprise was revealed in a new Fallout advertisement that premiered during the NCAA Men's Basketball Champion Game. The game-based series was originally planned for a debut on 12th April 2024.

Fallout TV Series’ New Release Date On Prime Video

During the NCAA championship game, Walton Goggins, one of the popular actors from Fallout's cast, popped up and announced that the entire series will launch on 10th April 2024 at 9:00 PM ET. That's not all; it was revealed that there will also be a special premiere event for fans, allowing them to choose and interact with their factions via chat, and see exciting surprises that will be tied to the show. The early release is surely a bold move for Prime Video.

The Fallout TV show doesn't directly adapt the storylines we've seen in games of the popular franchise. Instead, the series is supposed to take place in the same universe, as a Vault dweller comes out to witness the situation of a post-nuclear war in Long Angeles.

Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, known in the industry for their work on HBO's adaptation of Westworld, are the executive producers of the Fallout series. Nolan directed the show's first three episodes. In addition to Walton Goggins, the series' cast includes Kyle MacLachlan, Ella Purnell, and Michael Emerson.

Even though Fallout's first season hasn't even launched yet, a second season is apparently already in the works. The California Film Commission revealed its new tax-incentive disbursements, and its list also included $25 million in tax credits for Fallout's next season. However, it's crucial to keep in mind that Prime Video has announced any plans for renewal for the adaptation of Bethesda's popular video game series. Previously, Prime Video's CItadel was also awarded a $25 million tax credit to move to California for the second season. However, the show got canceled, with the money being allocated elsewhere in the incentive pool.
