Similar to the 2014 game, the upcoming Lords of Fallen will feature full-on RPG elements with a compelling story featuring two different realms; Axiom, which is the land of the living, and Umbral, the land of the dead. The game has been developed on Unreal Engine 5 which led to many critics considering it as a next-gen soul-like experience in terms of both graphics and gameplay. The game has been developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games, who were also the creators of the first game. Let’s take a look at everything we know so far about Lords of the Fallen 2023.

Lords of the Fallen 2023: Gameplay Features
This new reboot aims to differentiate itself from its predecessor by incorporating a world built up by two realms; Axiom and Umbral which are the lands of the living and the dead.
Players can freely traverse between the two worlds and when they die in Axiom they will spawn in Umbral and they must return to the land of living to recover their XP. However, when they die in Umbral, they will respawn at their last savepoint and also lose all unspent XP. similar to the Souls games, savepoints are few and far between but you also get the option to creature your own custom savepoints by gathering materials from Umbral Monsters
The game also has a co-op mode where they can team up with one other player as they embark on their adventure throughout the world.
