EA Sports Finally Reveals F1 24 Gameplay Trailer; Revamped Career Mode, Handling Upgrades, and Much More
It’s that time of the year again, as EA Sports and Codemasters have officially revealed the first gameplay footage of the upcoming F1 24. The official trailer reveals several new gameplay details, including an overhauled Driver Career Mode, features, tracks, and more. Let’s take a look at everything shown in the gameplay trailer.
F1 2024 Gameplay Trailer Revealed; New Features
F1 24’s trailer features extensive in-game footage of the new cars with their 2024 liveries and the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen. The F1 champion has been working alongside the developers on F1 24 to create a brand new handling model called “EA Sports Dynamic Handling.” The new handling physics can be strongly felt behind a controller or steering wheel.
Players can also expect an upgraded tyre mode, new suspension kinematics, aerodynamic simulation plus engine setup options for this year’s entry. The game promises to upgrade tracks in which the F1 circus goes all over the world. Out of the 24 tracks that are in the 2024 season, four specific tracks which have received some special love are Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone, Lusail, and Jeddah Corniche.
That’s not all; players will also experience the revamped Career mode. In this, you’ll be able to play as a rising F2 driver and work your way towards becoming an F1 Legend. You can even choose to play as one of the drivers on the 2024 F1 grid or create your own character. Players will build a reputation on the track by completing various objectives. The game will also include race-day tasks, so racing will become more than just finishing the highest position for the team you’re driving for. Players can complete Contract Targets to get new contract deals with the current team or secure a meeting with rival teams to move there.
Players will be able to play the new Career mode with an additional player. The other player can be your teammate on the same team or a rival on another one. However, if you don’t wish to go for the 24-race season in career mode, you can also play the Challenge Career mode . In this mode, you’ll race with a preselected driver from the grid and compete in mini-seasons.
“My Team Mode” is also making a comeback but seems to have been downplayed this year comparatively. This is a career mode in which you can enjoy the game as an owner or driver on a separate 11th team on the grid.
With its incredible blend of gameplay mechanics, overhauled career mode, and other features, EA Sports F1 24 will surely deliver an immersive and thrilling racing experience for everyone worldwide.
