EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: Evolutions Explained

If you’ve been following EA's soccer simulators, you know that Ultimate Team has always had a problem where some cards, despite their stats and potential, got left behind with the introduction of new cards with promotions. However, EA FC 24’s Evolution system seeks to fix that. 

For the first time in the series history, players would be able to upgrade cards over the course of a year with the Evolution system. Let’s jump right into how this new EA FC 24 system works!

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: What Are Evolutions?

The new Evolution system allows players to upgrade their squad’s base stats to make them better cards. You can evolve any player you want, as long as they fit the requirements, including all promo cards and Team of The Week cards that will be released with FC 24.

Players can upgrade card attributes, including shooting, physical, pace, defending, dribbling, and pace, by completing specific objectives themed around the area. For example, if you want to improve your player’s shooting, you might have to complete the objective of scoring goals to evolve your player.

With the help of evolutions, you can make evolved players learn a new position. Your midfielder can be turned into a winger and much more.

There’s no limit to how many players can be involved in a squad, but you can only work towards one active Evolution upgrade at a time.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: How to Evolve Players in FUT?

According to EA, FUT players would be able to get Evolutions by completing specific requirements. This can include playing a certain number of games in which the card scores or playing in Squad battles, among others.

We will also see a paid version of Evolutions, costing 50,000 coins or 1,000 FC points. Centurions will be one of the first Ultimate Team Campaigns to get access to Evolution upgrades. EA is planning to release more Evolution Paths for other EA FC 24 events and programs.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: What Are Evolution Challenges & Rewards?

The rewards of each EA FC 24 Ultimate Team Evolution Path and the challenge difficulty come down to the level you want to achieve. Challenges are not the same for every Evolution level, and the rewards you obtain in each upgrade can range from specific attribute upgrades to overall improvement. With the help of upgrades, you can customize and upgrade the following –

5. Cosmetics

7. Alternative Position
