Cyberpunk 2077 Cross Progression: What is it? How does it work?
Cross progression in Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to save your game and pick it up where you left it on another device. Your game is saved to the cloud, and after connecting your account to another device, you can resume it. Keep in mind that while you are seamlessly moving between several devices, make sure that your game is updated to the latest version.
Follow the given steps to enable cross progression on your device:
Install the latest update
Launch the game and access the main menu
Navigate to ‘Settings’
Now select the ‘Game Settings’ option
Scroll down to cross-progression and check it to ‘enabled’
After enabling cross progression, you can use it to switch devices whenever it is convenient. However, keep in mind that this crossing won’t work in regions where the game is unavailable. Meaning, even if you have the game on a device that is in a region where the game is available, you cannot make it available in a region where it is not available.
Using Cross Progression in Cyberpunk 2077
Follow the given steps to use cross progression in Cyberpunk 2077:
Make sure your Cyberpunk 2077 game is up to date.
Go to the "Load Game" menu and search for the Cross Progression button in the bottom left corner.
Follow the given instructions to link the game to your GOG account.
Cross progression is now on by default, but you can change it in Settings under Gameplay.
Now, whenever you create a new save, it will automatically be stored in the cloud.
Open Cyberpunk 2077 on the platform where you want to play and click on "My Rewards."
Link the game to the same GOG account same as in step 3.
You can access your cloud saves in the "Load Game" menu.
