Big Ant Studios and Nacon are back at it again with another game in the Cricket franchise. Titled Cricket 24, the newest game in the series will feature a new game mode, cross-play capabilities, improved graphics and tons of other features. The game is just three months away from release and we wanted to go over the game’s new features, its release date and other important information in case you are planning to get the game.

Cricket 24 Release Date

The game is set to release on 5th October 2023 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Older generation consoles including the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also be able to run the game.

Cricket 24 Price

The game is priced at $49.99/£49.99/€49.99. Some regions may have local pricing so the game might be a bit more affordable depending on where you live. The game is not yet available for pre-order.

Will Cricket 24 have cross-play?

Yes, the game will have cross-play as confirmed by Big Ant Studios. Players can compete and connect with friends regardless of their chosen gaming console or device.

What’s new in Cricket 24?

The most anticipated feature is Pro Team, a new game mode debuting in this year's title. While specific details are still under wraps, rumors suggest that Pro Team will resemble the highly popular Ultimate Team modes found in EA Sports' Madden and FIFA, soon to be rebranded as EA Sports FC.

The Ashes, KFC Big Bash, Weber Women’s Big Bash, The Hundred, Pakistan Super League, and the Caribbean Premier League have partnered with the game and will be available. A number of Indian Premier League (IPL) teams will also be included in the game which is great news as India has a massive cricket fanbase and Big Ant will be able to tap into the craze.

Big Ant Studios has previously partnered with multiple IPL teams in the past and they are likely to make an appearance. Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Punjab Kings are in the game according to leakers but there is no confirmation from the developers yet.
