If you haven't heard already, Clash Royale now has an exciting new feature called Card Evolution. With this feature, you'll be able to transform specific cards into even better versions during your battles. 

If you want to unlock a card's Evolution, you'll need six Evolution Shards of that specific card. However, collecting these shards can be a challenging task for many players as they are a rare in-game currency.

How to Get Evolution Shards in Clash Royale?

If you want to establish your dominance over your opponents, you need Card Evolutions, as they offer various benefits in the battle. It's important to know how to get your hands on Evolution Shards, and thankfully, there are a few different ways in which this can be done.

There are five ways through which you can get Evolutions Shards in Clash Royale to unlock card Evolutions – 

1. Pass Royale

Once you reach King Level 7, you can unlock Evolution Shards through Pass Royale. The season pass provides you with numerous rewards, including Evolution Shards, upon completing different tiers.

2. Season Shop

Once you reach King Level 8, the Season Shop will become available. This shop rotates its stock on a regular basis, including Evolution Shards for various different cards.

3. Challenges

Clash Royale challenges are a great way to test your skills and earn rewards. These challenges often include Evolution Shards as a prize but are on a rotation every three days, so make sure to complete them as fast as possible. 

4. Shop Offers

Don't forget to keep an eye on the shop for special offers, as sometimes they may include bundles featuring specific card Evolution Shards. There are also times when Evolution Shards are given for free, so keep an eye on the shop!

5. Level Up Chests

Once you reach King Level 50, every second Level Up Chest you unlock will contain Evolution Shards. 

If you get Evolution Shards for a fully evolved card below level 14, the extra Shards will convert into several regular cards for that troop type. For instance, you'll get 1,000 Common Cards for each extra Evolution Shard for a card above Level 14.

On the other hand, if you get evolution shards for a fully Evolved Card above level 14, the extra Shards will convert into a number of Elite Wild Cards. For instance, you'll get 1,000 Elite Wild Cards for each extra Evolution Shard for a card above level 14.

How to Get Wild Shards in Clash Royale?

Alongside Evolution Shards, players can also earn Wild Shards. These Shards allow you to add one Evolution Shard to a card of your choice. You can use Wild Shards to unlock the first Evolution Shard for any card that has an Evolution. 

Players can unlock Wild Shards at the Shop and Season Shop in Clash Royale.
