Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has already reached the number-one spot for Top Free Games on the App Store for iOS.
To celebrate the launch of this battle royale, Activision is offering free rewards upon linking their Warzone accounts to the Activision ID.
Players can also earn several other free goodies like Calling Cards, Decals, Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and more by participating in the Operation Day Zero in-game event.

Mobile gamers rejoice as the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has finally hit the store shelves today for both iOS and Android devices. The game aims to top the popularity of the previous COD Mobile and it has done so, right after its release, reaching the number one spot for Top Free games on Apple’s App Store.

While many expect the game to eventually succeed COD Mobile, the fact that it reached iOS top charts right after its launch signals that the day might probably arrive sooner than expected.

What Does the Newly Released Warzone Mobile Bring to the Table?

The newly released game features cross-progression, meaning all skins, rewards, and other cosmetics can be seamlessly accessed on mobile, console, or PC by simply connecting your COD account. This also means friend lists, chat channels, and even battle pass progression will be synced across all three platforms, emphasizing convenience.

Additionally, Activision is offering several free goodies for players who link their Activision ID to their Warzone Mobile Accounts. As part of its launch, the game also has an ongoing Operation: Day Zero event, that will offer both individual and community rewards after completing specific in-game tasks. These range from anything between Calling Cards, Stickers, Emblems, and Decals to Operator Skins, Vehicle Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and more.

Will Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Co-exist With COD Mobile?

Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) was first released back in October 2019 for both iOS and Android devices and has been a colossal success for Activision, with a massive 500 million downloads, gaining over $1.5 billion globally from in-game purchases as of February 2022, meaning the number has certainly gone up since then.

While the 2019 title popularized Call of Duty’s well-known game modes on a mobile platform, its dedicated Battle Royale (BR) mode was still lacking in comparison to other games in the same genre. With the release of Warzone mobile, Activision aims to captivate fans of BR games, providing a polished gameplay experience inspired by their incredibly successful Warzone, which has been available for PC and Consoles for four years now.

Warzone Mobile’s imminent success will place it right on the path of CODM, as the game has already topped App Store charts, currently raking in thousands of downloads on both iOS and Android.
