Microsoft's acquisition of Activision is finally complete, which means they're now the owners of the Call of Duty Franchise. Although this has caused some frenzy in the gaming space, it's great news for every gamer who has an Xbox or PC.

Call of Duty fans eagerly anticipate this merger's benefits for their beloved series. Fortunately, both Microsoft and Activision have provided us with some information about the franchise's future and whether CoD games will be available on Xbox Game Pass. Is Call of Duty Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Short answer: yes! The CoD franchise will make its way to Xbox Game Pass, but there's a catch.

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has confirmed Call of Duty and other Activision Blizzard titles won't be hitting the pass for months.

In a post on Xbox Wire, Phil Spencer said, "We'll share more about when you can expect to play in the coming months. We know you're excited – and we are too."

Xbox Game Pass X account has also said that they've started the work to bring Activision Blizzard's titles, including the Call of Duty franchise. However, in an X post on 9th October 2023, Activision Blizzard has already confirmed that they don't have any plans to bring Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 4 into the Game Pass this year.

Call of Duty on Xbox Game Pass Release Date 

Unfortunately, we still don't have an official release date for Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass, but the titles are slated to become available on Game Pass as early as 2024. The Xbox Game Pass X account will be sharing more details about it in the coming months.
